What's new

As of writing the Government has recorded just one positive test for Covid-19 in Monaco during the past week. We're cautiously optimistic.

Five weeks into lockdown, some events organizers have turned to technology in order to continue their activities. The Be Here Now ladies group would normally gather once a month for lunch in Monaco, but today they're meeting at 14:30 via Zoom. There's no guest speaker, just an opportunity to get to know the organizers and members. Email Kimholm2[at]icloud.com, or visit the Facebook event to find out more.

Another female group, the Professional Women's Network, is also using Zoom to host a Covid Cocktail and Trivia Night tomorrow evening at 18:30. This is a "members only" event, so you'll need to join first. Details about the event and links to membership information can be found here: PWN Nice: covid cocktail & trivia.

This evening at 17;30 the Jeune Chambre Economique is holding a virtual Business Time webinar to discover how Monaco's business community has adapted in the face of the pandemic. Special guests include President Stephan Valeri of the Conseil National, Frederic Platini of the Red Cross, Anne Caravel of Pharmacie du Jardin Exotique, and Erwan Grimaud of MC-Clic. Check out the agenda and registration details at: JCEM: ces acteurs monegasques qui se reinventent face a la mandemie.

And finally we've trawled through Youtube again for some entertainment and this week found a selection of four lockdown songs that made us chuckle. There are many many, more. Enjoy!

What's in the diary ....

Thursday: Coronavirus Rhapsody.
Friday: Stayin' Inside.
Saturday: Yesterday.
Sunday: I get locked down.

Stay safe and enjoy your weekend.
