Lighting up the summer sky
The Concours International de Feux d'Artifice Pyromelodiques de Monaco takes place every year in July and August and is a highlight of the summer season.
Four international companies fire rockets from Quai Rainier III cruise ship jetty, making the show visible from several places around town.
To get the full effect of the music, which has been specially chosen to complement the visual display, you'll need to watch from avenue d'Ostende and Quai Albert 1er, where speakers are installed.
Watch out for viewing parties at the Jardin Exotique, the Open Air Cinema and the Bateau Bus, and remember to book early if you want to take a seat at one of the harbour restaurants.
