Seniors swim for free

New tariffs at outdoor pool

The Stade Nautique Rainier III opens on Friday 1 May for the summer season, and this year Monegasques and residents aged 65+ can use the pool free of charge.

Managed by Monaco Mairie's Service des Sports et des Associations, the outdoor, Olympic sized pool is located at Port Hercule and open for exercise and leisure from 1 May to 11 October.

Apart from Sat 9 May (Monaco ePrix) and 20-24 May inclusive (Monaco Grand Prix), swimmers can take advantage of the heated sea water daily from 9:00:

  • Mondays, closing time 18:00
  • 1 May - 5 Jun, closes 18:00
  • 6 Jun - 6 Sep, closes 20:00
  • 7 Sep - 11 Oct, closes 18:00

In addition to the pool, there are four diving boards, two water slides, and pool side loungers with parasols for rent, all watched over by qualified lifesavers.

Entry is 5.60 euros, with discounts for books of 10 and 20 tickets, reduced prices for under 12s and seniors aged 60-64, and free of charge for under 3s.

Flexible tariffs are available for those who want to lounge by the pool, and for the more active, aqua keep fit classes are being organized several times a week from 9:30 to 10:30.
