Weeping over sins that I had never committed (1)

What's new

Well, March has certainly come in like a lion, as the saying goes. I've never seen so many photographs posted to facebook of snow covered gardens and terraces on the Cote d'Azur. At the time of writing, the weather is forecast to become milder over the weekend, but I don't think it will be warm enough in Cap d'Ail to sit out at Lamparo Beach and Restaurant, which is opening for the season today. Let's hope the month goes out like a lamb.

And finally, Dydd G?yl Dewi Hapus! Yes, it's Saint David's Day today, when the Welsh will be singing, 'wearing leeks in their Monmouth caps' and daffodils on their lapels. Anyone know where I can buy bara brith in Monaco?
