What's new

McCarthy's has added 3 new beers to its selection on tap. Strongest is the Lagunitas IPA, an American beer at 6.2%. Then there's a Desperados tequila flavoured drink at 5.9%. Finally, at 4.7% and not quite a session beer, Brits of a certain age can now enjoy a pint of Newcastle Brown at the only bar in Monaco to serve it on draught. To celebrate, all customers who turn up to McCarthy's tonight and get their order in between 18:00 and 22:00 will be offered a free pint of any of the draught beers, apart from Guinness or Magners.

It can be hard for newcomers to the Principality to settle in, but there are lots of clubs and associations that offer social activities. The Club des Residents Etrangers (CREM) is one of them, and most recently it's added tango to the program - the dance, not the drink. Lessons take place on two Tuesdays a month, from 18:00 to 20:00, from April to July, and cost 25 euros pp. Of course, you'll need to join CREM to take part, but then you might find yourself being taught by an Al Pacino or an Aliona Vilani. Contact CREM if you're interested.

And finally, it's tennis time again. Monaco will be packed with tourists and fans all next week during the Monte Carlo Rolex Tennis Masters. Enjoy!
