What's new
Yet more new measures to contain Covid were put in place on Monday. Teleworking is now obligatory where possible, and public gatherings are limited to six, down from ten. In large public spaces such as churches and shops, the person to area ratio has changed from 1 per 4m2 to 1 per 6m2 and if you generally go shopping en famille, you'll be limited to just two per trolley.
Chef Yannick Alleno has joined Monte Carlo SBM. He plans to bring his Paris Pavyllon concept to the Principality, replacing the Vistamar. Initially the current restaurant's outdoor terrace is to be renovated and a new Mediterranean menu introduced. In 2022 it will reopen under the Pavyllon name, with a glazed terrace and a more gastronomic carte.
