Out & about

Majid Boustany of the Francis Bacon MB Art Foundation has donated a Francis Bacon painting to Monaco mediatheque. Study from the Human Body (Man Turning on Light) (1973) currently hangs in the library reading room.

Theatre des Muses presents its forthcoming season to the public at 20:30 this evening and on five more dates this coming week. The venue produces shows and organizes workshops. It's also possible to hire the theatre for private use. More information from Theatre des Muses website.

The Stamps and Coins Museum celebrates its 25th anniversary tomorrow by releasing four new stamps. Check out the Musee des Timbres et des Monnaies website for more information.

Ni-box is slated for demolition. The club, which opened in 2010, will make way for a residential development. A replacement bowling alley is to be built just over the border in Cap d'Ail.

Coming up on 22 October, the autumn Foire d'Attractions returns to Port Hercule.

The Direction de l'Amenagement Urbain has organized its first Week-end Nature on Saturday and Sunday. There are guided tours, workshops and family entertainment in various green spaces around Monaco, and it's all free of charge. Enjoy!
