The schools break up tomorrow for the long summer holidays, and many of you will be thinking of traveling. For residents who choose to stay in town, the Mairie has organized plenty of entertainment, including the musical fireworks competition (the Swiss display is tomorrow), the annual summer fair, which starts on Saturday, and free concerts in Square Gastaud, Place d'Armes and Port Hercule.
Football fans will be interested in the Grimaldi Forum's July prize draw. The venue is giving away two tickets to the UEFA Champions League group draw and Best Player in Europe Award taking place in August.
And finally, Stars n Bars has planted a herb and vegetable garden around the its quayside terrace. Let's hope that revellers at the 4th July street party on Saturday don't disturb the newly installed plants.
