What's new

The kids are back at school and we have a busy March and April coming up. To lighten the mood, Monte Carlo Comedy Film Festival continues to screen funny films this weekend, bringing a little humour into the Principality.

There are two international celebrations of interest in the coming week that we will be marking. First, tomorrow is World Wildlife Day, when we're being encouraged to think of the harm that our consumption and leisure choices cause to wild animals and plants. The event website has lots of ideas on how you can get involved. Second, next Wednesday is International Women's Day, celebrating the achievements of women. In Monaco we usually see a couple of restaurants offering special menus.

Whether you're celebrating wildlife, women, or perhaps just wondering what life's all about, enjoy your weekend.

What's in the diary ....

Thursday: ageing-skin solutions.
Friday: spring music taster.
Saturday: Stutzman sings lieder.
Sunday: family karaoke.

Coming up next week, networking around art, a musical happy hour, and International Women's Day.

For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
(1) This week's quote is the title of a song from the Threepenny Opera, lyrics by Bertolt Brecht and music by German composer Kurt Weill, born this day 1900.
