What's new

Aaargh! How can it already be winter half term break? Yes, the schools close this weekend for two weeks, reopening on Monday 12 March.

If you're traveling during the holiday, you'll be glad to know that Nice taxi drivers have reached an agreement with the Prefecture to introduce a fixed taxi fare between Nice Airport and Monaco. From 1 March you'll pay 90 euros for the journey, which is neither the most nor the least expensive direct transfer. A helicopter flight will set you back 140 euros, and the 110 bus service a mere 22 euros.

If you're staying in Monaco during the break, there are a few seats still available at Club Vivanova's Luxury Lifestyle Gala, which takes place on Saturday 10 March. We had such a good time last year that we're going again. It includes a 4-course dinner, a fashion show, and an auction raising money for Fondation Prince Albert II, Chances for Children, and The Animal Fund TAF. The evening ends with music and dancing.
