What's new

We're moving into mainstream holiday season this weekend, with next to no networking events and many businesses taking time out. Note that the Club des Residents Etrangers de Monaco (CREM) is closed throughout the whole of August, reopening on 5 September.

Vista Palace Hotel, which overlooks Roquebrune and Monaco, won't reopen until 2020, but some of the establishment's team are keeping its beach restaurant running. La Cigale Vista Beach is located on the tip of Cap Martin and serves food prepared by chef Lucie Pichon from Saint Malo. It's not too far to travel for a break from the heat and noise of the Principality and is open for lunch (12:30 to 15:00) and dinner (19:30 to 22:00). Phone +33 4 93 35 75 56 to reserve a table with a view towards Italy.

Finally, we've heard some positive reports about Le Fish Market in Fontvieille. The Italian restaurant has opened in the premises previously occupied by One Apple concept bar. As the name suggests, it serves only fish and seafood. Let us know what you think if you get there before us.
