What's new

Dinner in the Sky returns to Monaco tomorrow. From 7 to 16 July groups of 22 diners can take to the air for a gourmet lunch or dinner prepared by a Michelin-starred chef.  At 990 euros per person the price is as outrageous as the idea of dangling 30 metres above the Casino Terraces to get a decent meal. It does include private transfers, a cocktail and drinks, but excludes the possibility of getting up to powder one's nose if necessary. If you have a head for heights phone +377 93 10 54 15 for more information. Those with vertigo will just have to make do with the 3-starred Louis XV, or the spectacular sea views from Mirazur in Menton and Chevre d'Or in Eze, both 2-starred.

Note that the sales have started in the Principality. Metropole shopping centre is also now open on Sundays throughout July and August.

And finally, check out the Sporting Summer Festival program. We're looking forward to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, George Benson, and Kool & the Gang, but there are plenty of Italian and French performers too.
