What's new
We open this week's newsletter with a call to readers with cultural or business interests.
First, the Direction des Affaires Culturelles is organizing its biennial Forum des Associations Culturelles on 4-5 May. If you'd like a stall to promote your organization, phone +377 98 98 83 03 or email infodac[at]gouv.mc before 9 February.
Second, MonacoTech has put out a call for applications. The business incubator is looking for startups with a team already in place, proof of concept, and of course, something for which Monaco will be a strategic location. Get your idea in by midnight, 24 February.
On the sporting front, at Tuesday's press conference for Monte Carlo Rolex Masters (13-21 April), organizers confirmed that Rafa Nadal is returning to defend his title. And as for restaurants, builders are working at the place formerly known as Cote Vapeur. It will reopen as Il Morso, date to be confirmed.
And finally, the two-week winter school holiday starts this weekend. If you were hoping to distract the kids with a visit to an art exhibition you're out of luck, as both Villas Paloma and Sauber are closed. But never fear, there's plenty for the very young at Princess Caroline Library, for the in-betweenies at the Oceanographic Museum, and for young adults at Pavillon Bosio.
What's in the diary ....
Thursday: Interior design workshop.
Friday: Atlantis - myth or reality?
Saturday: Basketball.
Sunday: Sailboat regatta.
For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
