What's new

We've been catching up on some of the new places that have opened in Monaco that we haven't yet had time to try.

La Terrasse du Marche is located on the upper floor of Condamine Market, in the space vacated by O'Liban. Open 9:30 to midnight, its theme is "grill and chill." Choose a cut of meat or fish from the menu (from 17 to 32 euros), then add your choice of garniture (4.80 euros). A two-course business lunch is priced at 18 euros. Check out their facebook page for more information, and phone +377 97 77 29 17 for reservations.

Also in Condamine, on rue Princesse Caroline, is Vinalia wine bar. There's a small selection of food such as bressaiola, smoked salmon, and platters of cheese and charcuterie. Wines are available by the glass and they do deliveries. Find them on facebook and phone +377 97 70 17 75.

And finally, Rossi La Bottega del Gelato has taken over from Gelateria on rue Grimaldi. It's another addition to Monaco's growing number of ice-cream ventures, also on facebook and phone +377 97 77 36 34. Let us know what you think if you visit before us.
