It's Valentine's Day on Sunday, and if you're doing your wooing in Monaco, we've listed some of the romantic treats on offer. But why wait? Give your lover a surprise and celebrate tonight.

A special meal in an upmarket restaurant is always a treat and there are plenty of starred establishments in Monaco. The 2016 French Michelin Guide to hotels and restaurants was published last weekend and there were no surprises and no changes to the entries for the Principality.

Many residents were sad to see Rampoldi close over two years ago, but it looks like the restaurant will be opening again in the near future. A facebook page has been set up and a website registered, and the hoarding around the entrance announces "coming soon". 

And finally, Monaco FC's 1-0 victory over Nice last weekend was sadly not matched when the team visited Sochaux on Tuesday. The Reds and Whites's Coupe de France hopes were dashed by a 2-1 defeat.
