One secret to making a good comedy (1)

What's new

The sport of padel is being given a boost on the Cote d'Azur thanks to the joint efforts of Monte Carlo International Sports and Beausoleil-based Tennis Soleil. The organizations plan to construct one outdoor and two indoor courts, which they hope can be used for the Monte Carlo Padel Master competition in September.

The Christmas Village has now closed, but the ice-rink remains open until the end of February. In addition to skating, the venue can be used for curling, ice-karting and  radio controlled model car racing.

Monte Carlo International Circus Festival starts today. There are shows every day except Monday 18 January, when the performers take a day to relax.

And finally, Virage restaurant has posted that it expects to reopen this weekend, following the departure of the previous managers shortly before Christmas (see 17 Dec newsletter).
