What's new

Summer is here and our thoughts are turning to garden barbecues and sipping cold drinks by the sea. Luckily we don't have to travel too far from the Principality to satisfy our cravings.

Just outside Monaco on the way to Nice, Patrick Raingeard, the Michelin starred chef of Cap Estel, is hosting a BBQ every Sunday. The price is 115 euros per person, with unlimited rose wine. Reservations can be made by phoning +33 4 93 76 29 29.

For something ultra special, Monte Carlo Beach has installed 70 sun loungers under the pine trees at La Vigie restaurant. Named for Dom Perignon 1998 vintage's second plenitude, the lounge serves champagne and food with a sea view. Bottles of the re-branded and re-released bubbly retail at around 400 euros.

And finally, for a quick snack, Monaco Restaurant Group's Pantone Cafe is popping up for a second year. From 20 June to 9 September you'll find the colourful caravan on Grimaldi Forum's esplanade.
