Divine wines for Monaco mortals

New boutique and tasting venue

December 2014 witnessed the opening of a new cave called Dionysos Wines in the Condamine district of Monaco.

Located on the pedestrian rue Princesse Caroline, the boutique's resident expert is Cyril Jaegle, ex-chef sommelier of Joel Robuchon.

The cave sells wine, champagne and spirits, and as you'd expect from a retailer based in the Principality, some of the most expensive names, such as Petrus and Chateau d'Yquem, can be found on the shelves.

In addition to sales, the shop also organizes workshops and classes in its own tasting room. Look out too for events around town organized with partners, such as the one in early December in Condamine Market, where visitors could taste wines with terrines and foie gras from supplier Formia.

Dionysos Wines:

  • open Mon-Sat, 10:00-19:00
  • Sundays by appointment
  • tastings on Thursdays by appointment, 19:00-21:00
  • deliveries to Monaco and limitrophes
