Villa Sauber exhibition space opens next week.

While we're waiting for the Villa Sauber to re-open, the New National Museum of Monaco (NMNM) is exhibiting one of its most recent acquisitions. Ferrari 308 GTS by Bertrand Lavier is on display in the museum garage, which has been refurbished with a display window for the occasion.

From 8th June, the Villa Sauber hosts an exhibition called Looking up..., which invites contemporary artists to look at the museum collections differently. Yinka Shonibare is the first artist in a series planned by the new museum Director. The exhibition is the result of behind the scenes work by Marie-Claude Beaud, who was appointed in April 2009.

Later this year the Villa Paloma opens in September. Its inaugural exhibition is being put together by German artist Thomas Demand, on the theme of art and territory.
