Guinness and cider in Monaco

Time for a refreshing drink

We may have to cross the border into France for a curry, but drinking options keep us in Monaco.

Brasserie de Monaco has announced that it's now selling Irish cider on draft, Magners to be exact. Made in Tipperary, the cider is uses a blend of 17 different types of apples, with a higher proportion of Michelin and Dabinett varieties in the draught. Consequently what you get out of the tap is not as sweet as the bottled cider.

Cremaillere has installed Guinness, which is an excellent accompaniment to the rugby and football being screened in the bar. It was buzzing on Valentine's evening, when Mrs maBoum was easily pleased by the free rose offered to all the ladies. Mr maBoum was keener on the famous Irish stout and the fact that he can now order a burger from the kitchen.
