Espace Leo Ferre inauguration in June

Fontvieille's concert hall, the Salle du Canton is soon to be re-christened. Inaugurated in 1994, the venue will continue to host concerts, exhibitions and other events as Espace Leo Ferre.

The new name celebrates Leo Ferre, poet, singer-songwriter and musician, born in 1916 in Monaco. Marking the 20th anniversary of his death this year, a series of events is being organized by the Mairie, starting with the official inauguration of Espace Leo Ferre on 11th June:

In addition, a conference is being planned at the Mediateque in October.
