Castelroc, opposite the Palace, has a new chef and a new autumn menu. Sylvain Etievant is well-known in the Monegasque restaurant world, having worked at the Hotel de Paris's Grill and most recently at Chaumiere. His lunch formula at the restaurant on the Rock is priced at 24 euros.
The diary this weekend is filled with sporting events. Monaco FC is playing host to Tottenham Hotspur tonight, and then on Sunday welcomes Stade Rennais. Tomorrow Kiryl Relikh defends his World Boxing Association Intercontinental Super Lightweight title against Christian Ariel Lopez, and on Saturday, the more gentle sport of chess takes place in Monte Carlo Casino.
Finally, next week the Principality starts celebrating Bavarian culture, food and beer, as Brasserie de Monaco is first to tap the Oktoberfest barrels. Prosit!
What's in the diary ....
