Monte Carlo Opera has announced the schedule for 2021-22. Big name performers include Angela Gheorghiu, Placido Domingo, Bryn Terfel, and Cecilia Bartoli in Rossini's Il Turco in Italia.
Eating out
Justin Schmitt of Paris restaurant Laurent has quit and moved south. He's working on his family vegetable garden in Liguria and intends to open a restaurant in Monaco at the end of the year.
Metropole Hotel's Odyssey lounge bar/restauant opens today for the season. Dinner is served Thu-Mon from 19:30. +377 93 15 15 56.
