What's new

The Petit Bar on the Rock is under new management. After six years at the helm, Laruent Athimond announced on facebook that he was leaving at the end of August to take a "break professionnel." John Contente is the new manager, previously at Pulcinella.

Monaco Restaurant Group is opening Cozza this month on the terrace opposite Mozza on rue du Portier. Dishes will feature seafood.

Didier Boidin has resigned as Monte Carlo SBM's General Manager of Hotel Operations & Procurement. He has been in the position since spring 2017 and leaves to manage the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

And finally, if you're at home on Wednesday 18 September at 19:30, tune in to Monaco Info (channel 8 or 70 on your Monaco Telecom Box) for a report on Patrick Moya. The Nicois artist is in residence at one of the "ateliers" on Quai Antoine 1er. If you don't know his name, you may have spotted his creation, Dolly, the little sheep, which has appeared on many posters in the region.
