What's new

The Yacht Club launches the Monaco Weather LAB today. It's a training program for professional sailors and navigators, focusing on marine weather, climatology and safety at sea. Monaco will also benefit from the program's meteorological laboratory.

Last week representatives of the Principality's industries and public services signed the Government's Charte pour l'Egalite des Femmes et des Hommes au Travail (charter for equality of women and men at work). Women represent around 40% of the workforce and equality is a fundamental right that's included in the Monegasque Consitution. The aim of the charter is to transform accepted principle into tangible practice.

And finally, it's time to raise the flags and celebrate the Fete Nationale. Besides the usual fireworks on Monday evening, Condamine Market is hosting soirees dansantes on Friday and Saturday from 19:30, and on Tuesday a giant stockfish stew is to be cooked at Place d'Armes, with musical entertainment from 10:00 to 14:00. Of course, Tuesday is also another day off for the workers. Enjoy!
