Monaco's opening up for summer, which is good news for the economy. But don't throw caution to the wind just yet. Covid numbers increased last week, apparently due to holiday-makers returning from Marbella, and Tuesday saw sixteen new positive cases. Keep in mind that residents who return from holiday can get a free PCR test.
On Monday evening President Macron announced that access to French shopping centres, restaurants, bars and long-distance trains will be limited to those who can prove they've been vaccinated or have a negative test. So now's a good time to apply for your Monaco Health Pass.
Nightclubs got the go-ahead to open last weekend, but to gain entry you have to make a reservation and be in possession of a health pass.
Jimmy'z plans to reopen next Thursday 22 July.
And finally...
The Mairie has organized family entertainment at Port Hercule until 22 August. There's a carousel, crazy karting, basketball, and of course swimming at Stade Nautique. Enjoy!
