What's new
We've just returned from our annual pilgrimage to the Great British Beer Festival. It was a welcome break from summer heat, and we got to drink plenty of ale.
Before we left, we were saddened to learn of the death of Joel Robuchon. His eponymous restaurant in the Hotel Metropole opened in 2004, and is a beacon for gastronomes visiting the Principality.
And finally, Columbus Hotel has opened its Tavolo restaurant to the public. It serves Mediterranean cuisine, has a business lunch menu, and a terrace overlooking the Princess Grace Rose Garden. Let us know what you think if you get there before us.
