Well, as the French parliament approves its vaccine pass for public places, England is about to abolish the need for masks on public transport and in shops. Here in Monaco the health pass has become mandatory for those working in government and administration, banks, and buses. For a full list, check the Covid website.
At the end of last week Monaco Hebdo reported that the planned partial opening of Jardin Exotique in 2022 is unlikely to take place due to lack of budget. Meanwhile Gazette de Monaco noted that Villa Paloma plans to open a cafe in its gardens in summer. Architect and artist Guillaume Aubry is designing and intends to install solar powered ovens.
Next week there are two events of interest. First, a football match on Monday sees Prince Albert's Barbagiuans face Princess Stephanie's Cirque FC to raise money for the Fight Aids organisation.
Second, on Tuesday the British Association and Club Vivanova are celebrating Robert Burns's life and poetry with a traditional supper in the Fairmont Hotel. Further details on Vivanova's website.

Monte Carlo Automobile Rally is in town this weekend. Place du Casino hosts the official start this evening, and prize-giving is planned for Sunday afternoon. Enjoy!
