Reader, I married him. (1)

Our best wishes go out to Prince Albert, who last week tested positive again for Covid. Those of you who are fit and healthy tho' can take advantage of the Government's further easing of restrictions. It's good news for diners who no longer need to reserve in advance, and for restaurateurs who can accept parties of any size and who no longer have to keep the music down. Full details can be found on the Covid19 website.

On Tuesday 26 April take advantage of the eased restrictions at Condamine Market's Italian evening. Allegria Band is providing live music, and you can either reserve a table inside the hall, or take your chance at a table outdoors. This is expected to be the first of several themed evenings at the market.

If you've got tickets for Monte Carlo Opera's production of Manon Lescaut, note that soprano Maria Agresta is unable to perform and has been replaced by Anna Netrebko. There are four performances, tomorrow, Sunday, Wednesday, and 30 April.

Young artists are being encouraged to apply for the Street Art Challenge Junior in June. It's part of the Urban Painting Around the World (UPAW) event which includes live art performances, and this year takes place on the Casino Terraces. For more information check out the Mairie's website and note entries must be received by 20 May.

And finally...

Congratulations to Monte Carlo SBM which last week was named Best Casino Operator at the International Gaming Awards in London.
