What's new

Several of Monaco's major events have been in the news this week. The Monte Carlo Rally officially starts at lunchtime today but is closed to spectators. Sadly the same isn't the case for the Historic and Classic rallies which have been canceled. As for the historic Grand Prix, the ePrix and the F1 Grand Prix, all three are expected to go ahead.

Off the road, organisers of the Tennis Masters, which usually takes place in April, have once again delayed the opening of the ticket office. Check the website regularly for updates.

Next Wednesday we're looking forward to a day off for Saint Devote's day. Celebrations usually begin the evening before with the boat burning and fireworks, but this year Covid has placed restrictions on the event. Check the government website for updates.

And finally...

Monaco's restaurant within a restaurant has been awarded its first Michelin star. The Table d'Antonio Salvatore is located in the old cigar cave of Rampoldi. We visited shortly after it opened in September last year and loved it. It's the only non-hotel based 1-star in the Principality. Enjoy!
