Kinkering Congs Their Titles Take. (1)

Welcome to the last maBoum newsletter before September. We're taking a break this summer but will return with the rentrée. Our rolling list of events in Monaco will still be updated on the website tho'.

The number of Covid cases is rising again and the Government has announced that all residents who've been traveling abroad must take a PCR test on their return. Legislation is also being drawn up to make vaccinations obligatory for those working with vulnerable people. At time of writing there are no changes to current health measures, but note that some restaurants whose staff have tested positive have voluntarily closed.

The Metropole Centre is hosting pop-up stores over summer, all of them local businesses. Check out Marine Tondeur's pret-a-porter for women, Borsalino's Italian headgear, Umberto Degiuli's bubble tea, and Rosé wine from Sicily.

Monaco Restaurant Group is also getting in on the pop-up act with a snack bar called Mozzafiato on the Grimaldi Forum esplanade. Open daily, 10:00 to 20:00 (22:00 on Thursdays). Just the thing after a visit to the Giacometti exhibition.

Alternatively, CREM members seeking refreshment can head to their clubhouse, which is open exceptionally this summer from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekdays.

And finally...

Throughout summer there's free entertainment every Friday evening on the Rock. Enjoy!

What's in the diary...

Thursday: Poulenc & Ravel.
Friday: Enchanted forest party.
Saturday: Fight Aids with Abba songs.
Sunday:  Organ & voice recital.
