What's new

There's an interview in the Gazette de Monaco with Eric Elena, President of the women's Monaco Basketball Association (MBA), currently celebrating its 10th anniversary. The female team is not as well known, nor as well supported as the male Roca team, but in its short lifetime it's won several trophies. They're currently working on becoming professional and hope for promotion to French Ligue 2 at the end of the current season.

Artist Patrick Moya has an exhibition of his work at the Maison de France from 2 to 20 December. He's a member of the "Ecole de Nice" art movement and an early pioneer of video art. We know him more for his Pinocchio-style self-portraits and his Dolly the sheep, which used to promote Dolly Parties at Brasserie de Monaco many years ago.

And finally, Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends, many of whom will be celebrating at Stars n Bars all-you-can-eat buffet this evening. Enjoy!
