What's new
There's a taste of Scotland in Monaco this weekend with the return of the Monte Carlo Whisky Festival. A tasting room has been set up in the Hotel Metropole and there's a conference in the Oceanographic Museum where you can meet the experts. Scottish culture, food and traditions are being celebrated too, with ceilidh music from the band Whisky Kiss, a fish and chips van and a St Andrew's Gala Banquet.
Marcel Ravin and his team at Monte Carlo Bay are organizing cookery classes again in the kitchens of Las Brisas restaurant. The first course takes place on Friday, and for a full list including prices, visit the Monte Carlo SBM website at: cookery classes at Monte Carlo Bay Hotel.
And finally, whilst the warm weather lasts, take advantage of Nikki Beach, which is now established on the roof of the Fairmont Hotel for the whole season. It opens at 11am, Saturday and Sunday for brunch (65 euros excl. drinks), the pool heated to 30 degrees and background music provided by the resident DJ.
