What's new

On Sunday the world celebrates the economic, political, cultural and social achievements of women. In Monaco there are usually a handfull of events, some taking place on International Women's Day itself, others in the weeks before and after 8 March. This year British Association women are meeting for a fish and chips lunch tomorrow, there's a concert and a wine tasting on Sunday, and next week CREM is holding two fashion and beauty days.

We've been hearing excellent reports about the Petit Bar following its management change (see 12 Sep 2019 newsletter). Chef Jean-Marc Troussard was previously at La Reserve de la Mala and is now preparing traditional French cuisine at the bistrot on the Rock. It's open for lunch and dinner (closed Sundays and Monday evenings), and we'd advise you to reserve a table - it was fully booked when we tried to get in last Friday.

And finally, a quick look ahead to St Patrick's Day on 17 March. Tickets for the concerts and Monaco Ireland Arts Society production often sell out in advance. As do tickets for Club Vivanova's Luxury Lifestyle Gala, which takes place on 4 April. Enjoy!
