What's new

It's the final weekend of music festival Printemps des Arts, with performances of Bach's Organ Mass, organ music and cantatas, and Musical Offering, a cello recital, and closing with some grand music by Sibelius. In addition, but not part of the festival, German soprano Diana Damrau is performing Italian romantic arias tomorrow.

Sport also features high on the agenda this weekend with the opening of the 2015 Monte Carlo Rolex Tennis Masters. Saturday is the official launch, qualifying matches taking place on Saturday and Sunday, and there's a charity event organized by player Marin Cilic too.

And finally, good news for users of public transport this week as the Monaco rail tunnel is now open to trains traveling in both directions at the same time again. Consequently, timetables changed last Saturday, bringing back late evening services to the schedule. In addition, travel on Monaco buses just got better with the new CAM bus app. The application contains real time bus information, especially useful if you want to catch the night bus. Never again need you miss a bus nor hang about waiting at a stop.
