Dans la grande foret, un petit elephant est ne. (1)

Hope you enjoyed your day off yesterday.

Monaco Dance Forum starts this weekend, with a performance of L'Heure Exquise on Saturday. The annual festival welcomes visiting companies and big name choreographers, with workshops, master classes and exhibitions. Check out the full program on the Ballets de Monte Carlo website.

On Sunday it's the annual U Giru de Natale 10km race organized by the Association Sportive de la Surete Publique. There are likely to be traffic diversions since the course takes runners on a circular tour of Monaco, starting and finishing in Port Hercule.

Covid numbers are still high and new measures come into force from 15 December. The health pass will not only be required for those who want to go out to restaurants and bars, but also for those who work in the hospitality industry. For a full list of Monaco's current regulations, visit the Government's Covid-19 website. Note too that some events may have restricted numbers or be cancelled, so check before you set out.

And finally...

It's time to order your Christmas bird if you've not already done so. Only two weeks to go!

What's in the diary...

Thursday: King Richard.
Friday: Basketball.
Saturday: Hallelujah!.
