Monte Carlo Opera's concert and stage productions for the coming 2014-2015 season.
The season officially opens with the 19th November Monegasque National Day gala performance, this year of Gounod's Romeo et Juliette. However a public performance of the opera is scheduled a couple of days earlier, and before that, a concert with Natalie Dessay and Christophe Dumaux.
We are looking forward to concert performances by Jose Cura, Kwangchul Youn and Diana Damrau, as well as bass-baritone Erwin Schrott taking on the title role of Mozart's Don Giovanni.
Under 26s are encouraged to come along to 4 operas (Romeo et Juliette, Une Tragedie Florentine, Pagliacci, Don Giovanni) by buying a season ticket for a total price of 40 to 75 euros.
