31 March: L'Etat monegasque aux cotes des travailleurs impactes
The Government's measures designed to support workers during the crisis include: 1) Chomage Total Temporaire Renforce (CTTR), by which the State reimburses up to 80.6% of the salary for workers who are laid off. If the employer pays the remaining 20% this will be exempt of social charges. 2) Those earning up to 1800 euros receive 100% of their salary. 3) Self-employed workers can claim 1800 euros per month. 4) Holiday pay for temping staff. 5) Rents on state premises will be reimbursed for March and exempt for the next 3 months. 6) Loans for SMEs. 7) Teleworking is now the norm. Justification is needed otherwise. 8) Sacking staff is prohibited except for proven gross negligence.

The total number of people who have tested positive has risen to 52, two of whom have recovered. Eleven are hospitalised, two in intensive care. 90 people with few symptoms are being monitored at home.
