Jeune Chambre's sports competition for Monaco organizations

Monaco's Jeune Chambre Economique (JCEM) is once again organizing its Trophee inter-Entreprises et Administrations Monegasques (TEAM). Companies and organizations are invited to take part, with the benefits of developing team spirit, giving workers an opportunity to discover new sports, and a chance to win the TEAM trophy.

This year there are 4 sports:

• paintball, teams of 6 players, Sat 26 Apr at Gourdon
• volley ball, teams of 4 players, Sat 28 Jun at Plage Larvotto
• karting, teams of 4 players, date in September to be confirmed, at Luc circuit
• baseball, teams of 9 players, Sun 12 Oct at Menton's Stade du Val d'Anaud

Companies put their own teams together, and different team members are allowed for each challenge.

Points are awarded after each sporting event, and combined once all stages have been completed to give a final classification. The trophy is awarded later in the year to the organization whose teams have made most points over the whole tournament.

Sports days are open to spectators, including participants' families and supporters.

Besides the team-building and sports, the challenge is raising money for the Fondation Cedric Flaujac. Created in 2012, the Foundation provides support for disadvantaged children and youths to develop skills and abilities in education, sports, culture and art.

If you'd like to enter the TEAM tournament, the registration fees are:

• 1500 euros per team for all events
• 500 euros per team for 1 event
