The gourmet restaurant of the Port Palace Hotel has achieved its first Michelin star.
The Mandarine restaurant's chef, Patrick Raingeard has been awarded a star by the Michelin red guide, which celebrates its 100th edition this year. Mr Raingeard takes his place among the other starred restaurants of the Principality, Alain Ducasse at the Louis XV and Bar et Boeuf, Joel Robuchon at the Metropole, Joel Garault at the Vistamar, and Sylvain Etievant at the Grill.
A great excuse to try a new restaurant. Yummy!
Post script: Unfortunately the Vistamar has lost its star for 2009.
