Venue: Villa Paloma: New National Museum of Monaco

Art exhibition

From 18 April to 3 November, an exhibition of around 40 works by Italian artist Ettore Spalletti, from his studio and from private collections. He is known for his Minimalist installations.

  • daily, 10:00-18:00
  • entry 6 euros
  • free entry on Sundays

The show is curated by Cristiano Raimondi and has been designed for Villa Paloma's layout.

Born in 1940, Ettore Spalletti continues to live and work in his native Cappelle sul Tavo. His sculptures use simple, painted columns reminiscent of classical architecture, whereas his monochromatic impasto painting technique produces deep colours and highly reflective surfaces.

NMNM has contributed to the production of an Italian documentary (with French and English subtitles) about the artist, to accompany the exhibition. The video will be premiered in Monaco.
