12th International Jazz Soloist Competition

With jury president Andre Ceccarelli
In collaboration with the Academie de Musique et de Theatre Fondation Prince Rainier III and Monte Carlo Jazz Festival. A competition for all categories of instruments. Competitors submit recordings of 2 jazz standards to the Fondation, a jury selects the 3 best competitors for the gala concert, where finalists perform 3 jazz standards of their choice from a list. Cash prizes of 1500 euros, 1000 euros and 700 euros, and a return concert at the Festival in 2011.
