What's new

Congratulations to Sebastian Vettel who won the F! Monaco Grand Prix last Sunday. We're all back at work now, although there were quite a few tired faces around the office on Monday morning.

Monte Carlo Bay's Las Brisas opens for the season today. The summer restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine for lunches from midday to 15:00 and has an outdoor terrace by the sea. Phone +377 98 06 03 60 for reservations.

Now that June has arrived we're looking forward to watching a few movies on the Rock at the Open Air Cinema. Its doors open on 16 June with Tom Cruise in The Mummy and a basic ticket price of 12 euros. We're still waiting for the full schedule to be published.

Next Thursday, a little too early for posting in the newsletter, The Animal Fund (TAF) association is organizing a World Oceans Day event that combines exercise, fun, and helping the planet. Setting off from Cap d'Ail beach, a group of volunteers will be gathering plastic bags, bottles and other items that are polluting the sea. Email info[at] if you'd like to help out.

Finally, enjoy your day off for Pentecost on Monday.

What's in the diary ....

Thursday: Optimistic film about climate change.
Friday: Musical northern lights.
Saturday: Jack Sparrow returns.
Sunday: Riviera Water Bike Challenge.

Coming up next week, Monacology starts, a hormonal lunch, and an anniversary cocktail.

For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
