What's new

This weekend is packed with Christmas events. On Saturday the Mothers of Africa charity is organizing a market where you can buy gifts, decorations and cards. Frankie is throwing a party for disadvantaged children, and the beautiful people will be out-bidding each other to help the Princess Charlene Foundation at the Bal de Noel.

On Sunday you can start with a Christmas run, take the kids to a classical Christmas concert, then for something traditionally British, get along to St Paul's for the Festival of Nine Lessons with carol singing. There'll be mince pies and mulled wine in the library afterwards.

And finally, the Christmas Village is now open, serving food and drink and selling gifts. Enjoy!

What's in the diary ....

Thursday: Youth choir concert.
Friday: Kids Nite gala.
Saturday: Mothers of Africa Christmas market.
Sunday: Fred and Ginger.

Coming up next week: festive wine tasting, Some Like It Hot, and tango music.

For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
