What's new

We know that summer is just around the corner when Monaco Open Air Cinema announces its opening night. Let's hope the weather has warmed up a little for Saturday 16 June, when Ocean's 8 is being screened.

If you're a fan of the champagne brunch, note that Monte Carlo Bay's Blue Bay restaurant is holding its last one of the season on Sunday. The hotel is also celebrating South African cuisine and culture over the next few days, with an appearance by the Cenestra Male Choir and a party on Saturday.

French crooner Charles Aznavour is performing at the Grimaldi Forum on 5 June. The nonagenarian has been recuperating after breaking his arm, and has chosen Monaco to return to the stage, after which he'll be touring Europe, USA and Australia.

And finally, with the F1 still to come, Nice Matin reported that Felipe Massa has joined Gildo Pastor's Venturi Formula E team. The electric vehicle competition alternates with the Historic Grand Prix, which has just finished, so we'll be watching out for the 2019 dates.
