What's new

The season to be jolly starts this weekend with St Nicholas's Day on Saturday. To mark the occasion, tomorrow morning at the Mairie, the Comite National des Traditions Monegasques is handing out treats to school children. In the evening, the Christmas Village opens, and on Saturday SBM throws the switch on the Casino Square illuminations. maBoum has posted its Christmas in Monaco listing of events (to be updated regularly), which includes Club Vivanova's christmas wine tasting tomorrow, and the Christmas Kermesse on Saturday. Father Christmas has already been busy for a week, meeting and greeting children, and he and his helpers at the post office are ready to answer all their letters posted in any letterbox in Monaco, until 23 Dec.

Columbus Hotel is playing host to the  Tesla sales team over the next four days. Test drives of the new, 100% electric Model S saloon are on offer, but you'll need to register at Tesla Tour Monaco.

Finally, Nobu at the Fairmont has introduced a concept called Seven2Nine. The happy hour style event takes place every week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 19:00-21:00, and features finger food, a glass of wine or champagne, and live music by DJ Sacha Moreno and Envy Soul. For more information phone +377 97 70 70 97.
