What's new

This week Stars n Bars announced its intention to become an Eco-Hub for Monaco, making space available for local associations, workshops and events that promote sustainable living. The American diner's team assure us that at heart it will remain a family restaurant.

Following a change of management last year (see 17 Dec 2015 newsletter), Virage has reopened with a new chef, new team and a menu of Mediterranean dishes and grills. The restaurant serves lunch from 12:00 to 15:00 and dinner from 19:30 to 23:00, with live music and later opening Thu-Sat.

And finally, Before Monaco is introducing singles' nights. Every Tuesday the bar organizes speed-dating from 19:00 to 20:00, with music mix by DJ Yan-One and a free cocktail for women, whatever time they arrive.

What's in the diary ....

Thursday: Monegasque theatre celebration.
Friday: Frero Delavega.
Saturday: Dinner with Robbie Regan.
Sunday: Monaco Book Fair.

Coming up next week, looking forward to Francis Bacon, networking now with InterNations, and looking back at Suzanne Vega.

For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
(1) This week's quote is spoken by Jane Eyre, in the book of the same name written by Charlotte Bronte, born this day 1816. The sentence continues, "and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will."
