What's new
This weekend there's plenty to keep art lovers occupied (see diary below for Fri and Sat), but don't forget it's also Monaco Red Cross Day on Saturday, so please lend your support for a good cause.
Following Jean-Claude Brugel's move to the Thermes Marins (see 7 Apr newsletter), Elio Rossi has taken charge of the Cafe de Paris' kitchen temporarily. Rossi served as Brugel's second-in-command and has worked at the Cafe de Paris for around 15 years.
Finally, since 1 May falls on Sunday, Monday is a holiday in Monaco, but not in France. Enjoy your day off!
What's in the diary ....
Thursday: Cabaret in the library.
Friday: Nuit Blanche.
Saturday: Art Monte Carlo.
Sunday: Kylian evening.
Coming up next week, holiday for workers, cocktails with foreigners and picnic with Morrissey.
For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
(1) This week's quote is the title of a book by American novelist Harper Lee, born this day 1926.
