What's new

It's non-stop party time in the Principality this weekend, with the Monaco International Clubbing Show (MICS) that started yesterday.

One of the best places in the Principality for coffee has sadly closed. Le Regina cafe is currently being transformed into a new restaurant. Also, Zelo's, the club and restaurant in the Grimaldi Forum, is temporarily off limits whilst work is being undertaken. It's expected to reopen in December with an updated look.

Finally, it's Remembrance Sunday at the weekend and next Wednesday Armistice Day, which is a holiday in France but not in Monaco. The Royal British Legion is selling poppies in Monaco again this year to raise money that will support British veterans and service personnel.

What's in the diary ....

Thursday: Hackers not invited to lunch.
Friday: Vitamin Vodka launch.
Saturday: Discover Monaco's cultural associations.
Sunday: Grand symphonic concert.

Coming up next week, shopping sensibly, eating seasonably and the return of Bond.

For lots more suggestions, visit maBoum's 7 day listing and enjoy your weekend.
(1) This week's quote is a line from a British rhyme that starts "Remember, remember the 5th of November", celebrating the failed attempt in 1605 to blow up the Houses of Parliament by Guy Fawkes and his co-conspirators.
