Monte Carlo Piano Masters 2012

From 12th to 15th June, 12 pianists take part in the Monte Carlo Piano Masters. All contestants have already won competitions around the world and have taken part in a pre-selection process held in April. The winner of the Monte Carlo Piano Masters receives the Prince Rainier III prize worth 30,000 euros and concert engagements in France and abroad.

- 12th Jun, 9:30, quarter finals to select 4 candidates (in the Auditorium Rainier III)
- 13th Jun, 13:30, semi finals to select 2 finalists (in the Auditorium Rainier III)
- 15th Jun, 20:00, finals, pianists perform in the Salle Garnier with the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Philippe Bender
The Piano Masters along with the Violin Masters, and the Voice Masters, is one of 3 music competitions held annually in Monaco. The 2009 piano competition was won by Sergei Tarasov.
